CRAZY AS FUC_!!!!!!! She should be locked away in a nut house. Dumber than dog shi_!!! She finally got fired after years of abuse toward students and teaching from an old edition book different than what the students had. St. Louis community college should refund and apologize to every student that ever had class with her.
Emily Yale was the absolute worst instructor I have ever had. She was notorious for hazing and being disrespectful to students on a personal level. Her expectations are so unclear that there is no way to figure out how to meet them. Asking her what she expects? Expect a vague answer without any direction intended to confuse you more. I truly believe she has a personal goal to fail students. She seems proud when she has the opportunity to do so. Her tests are difficult, as all nursing tests. The difference is that hers are manipulative and tricky. They do not reflect a learning assessment tool as tests typically are used for. If you have any questions about any material she covers (or DOESN'T might be a better way to state this piece of advise), be prepared to be humiliated for asking a question. I am not just a whinny nursing student who had a rough semester. I am an A student who puts time, energy and goes above and beyond. I always have been. Emily Yale has a "teaching style" intended to make students feel inferior. I have never been so dissatisfied with an instructor. I have had some pretty terrible instructors, but none have been as miserable as Emily Yale. Nursing isn't for everyone as she has said, and neither is teaching.
Emily is one of the worst professors I have ever had. She fails to cover things in class and still holds you responsible for them. Her test questions are written for people with experience in the workplace and we are still learning. Avoid her if possible you will regret the experience. |
